It’s Friday. But, of course, you already know that. This weekend, the playlist is all about easy listening. It’s funny, if you said that to me as a kid, I never would’ve been interested. Now that I drink wine and enjoy just listening, easy listening has become my favorite weekend mood. There’s some songs or artists you might recognize, like Lesley Gore or Baby by Donnie & Joe Emerson. Otherwise, it’s a collection of tracks that span the globe — Nigerian funk, Italo disco, New Orleans R&B.
This playlist is meant for having a good time. Sitting back, drinking a glass of wine and just being. Whether you’re cooking dinner for friends, your partner, yourself. Whether you’re not cooking dinner at all and just want to vibe to something after shutting your computer for the weekend.
